Bel ritorno di Christina Aguilera con Telepathy
Christina Aguilera al contrario di Rihanna non ha deciso di snobbare la canzone che Sia ha scritto per lei, ed ha fatto bene, perché Telepathy segna un grande ritorno per la cantante.
Spero che il suo nuovo album sia ricco di canzoni come Telepathy, che possiede un sound divertente, che allo stesso tempo non manca di emozionare, che è quello che contraddistingue le canzoni di Christina.
Perfetto per la serie tv di cui fa parte
Quando Baz Luhrmann mette il suo nome attorno alla regia di un film o una serie tv, la colonna sonora è altrettanto importante quanto il prodotto visivo. Dopo la grande colonna sonora che abbiamo ascoltato per Il Grande Gatsby dove compaiono grandi artisti come Beyoncé e Lana Del Rey, è riuscito a fare il bis con la serie originale Netflix The Get Down.
In questo programma troviamo pezzi di Zayn, Michael Kiwanuka, Miguel e Christina Aguilera. Aguilera ha lavorato con Nile Rodgers degli Chic su questo pezzo disco vintage intitolato Telepathy.
Christina Aguilera ha fatto un ritorno sulla scena musicale all’inizio di quest’anno quando ha dedicato la sua canzone ‘Change‘ alle vittime della sparatoria avvenuta ad Orlando. Dopo questa ballata emotiva e socialmente riflettente, ha cambiato sound ritornando alle sue origini, con l’aiuto della produzione di Stargate e dell’abilità di cantautrice di Sia.
Un ritorno al genere…
Chi avrebbe mai pensato che la sua voce elettrica cascasse così bene attorno ai suoni di chitarra e quel sound funky tipico degli anni settanta. Christina e Telepathy sembrano una cosa sola, e questo brano è davvero orecchiabile e vi resterà nella mente a lungo.
In più – cosa non da poco – si incastra molto bene nella trama della serie tv per cui è stata progettata. In pratica nel programma si racconta l’evoluzione dell’hiphop con l’epilogo del sound disco.
