Ellie Goulding pubblica la cover del classico degli anni ’70 Vincent
Anche se questo non è il primo singolo di Ellie Goulding estratto dal suo prossimo album in studio, si tratta comunque di una cover interessante. È la cover della canzone di Don McLean del 1971 che si intitola “Vincent“. L’artista aveva originariamente scritto il brano come tributo al famoso pittore tardo olandese Vincent van Gogh.
Non si sa ancora il motivo del rilascio di questa cover ma vi posso dire una cosa: questa versione di Ellie Goulding di Vincent è semplicemente bellissima! La sua voce è incantevole e ben si addice alla melodia di Vincent. Ellie ha deciso per un arrangiamento in acustico con chitarra usando un tono nostalgico e rilassante. Scelta apprezzata!
