Mabel la conosciamo principalmente grazie al suo famigerato singolo “Don’t Call Me Up“, che ha avuto un grandissimo successo in tutto il mondo. La cantante britannica è giovanissima (pensate un po’, è del ’96) ma è già molto conosciuta e soprattutto amata.
Disponibile dal 20 Settembre, il video di “God is a Dancer“, la collaborazione appunto tra la bellissima Mabel e il dj e producer Tiësto , ci sta già facendo innamorare. Potete vedere il video qui sopra.
La canzone è stata scritta dallo stesso Tiësto con la collaborazione di Josh Wilkinson.

Ad agosto Mabel ha pubblicato il suo primo disco intitolato “High Expectations”. A proposito del progetto, la cantante 23enne cresciuta tra Svezia, Malaga e Londra, ha dichiarato:
“Voglio mandare un messaggio positivo a tutti quelli che lo ascolteranno. Ho guadagnato così tanta fiducia scrivendo questo album ed è questo che voglio trasmettere alla gente che lo ascolterà”.
La cantante si esibirà in Italia molto presto: il 24 Febbraio si esibirà ai Magazzini Generali di Milano.
Significato di “God is a Dancer”, Tiësto ft. Mabel
Il titolo “God is a Dancer” significa letteralmente “Dio è un ballerino”. E a parte la sua tradizione un po’ divertente, la canzone parla di nient’altro che questo: leggerezza, danza e divertimento, e di due persone che si inseguono a passo di danza e imparano ad amarsi.
“God is a dancer, yeah, I heard on the radio/ That she always goes harder/ ‘Cause she keepin’ you on your toes/ And she’s perfectly focused/ She’s lost in the moment”, canta Mabel a inizio canzone. “Dio è un ballerino, sì, l’ho sentito alla radio.
