Fantasia – No Time For It (Audio, Testo & Dettagli).

Fantasia Barrino mi era piaciuta molto ai tempi di “Idol”, quindi sono abbastanza dispiaciuto che la sua carriera non abbia progredito come tutti auspicavano. Voglio dire, in realtà lei ha ottenuto qualche buon risultato in materia di vendite, ed ha anche vinto un Grammy, ma lei non è ancora una superstar, e con ogni nuovo album che rilascia, sembra che la sua popolarità vada pian piano scemando, soprattutto per quanto concerne le vendite.

Quindi, cosa riserverà il futuro per Fantasia? Continuare a pubblicare album finché lei non lascia la RCA e spera per il meglio a quanto pare. Non mi piace che la sua carriera si sia trasformata in qualcosa di certo e prevedibile. Lei dovrebbe essere in cima alle classifiche, ed invece dorme sugli allori. E la colpa è dell’etichetta RCA.

Il 2016 sarà l’anno in cui tornerà Fantasia con un nuovo album in studio, il suo quinto complessivo. Il set è ancora in attesa di conferma dalla RCA, ma il primo singolo è già pronto a quanto pare. La canzone “No Time For It” è stata rilasciato su iTunes l’8 gennaio, ed è in streaming su VEVO. Puoi acquistare il singolo No Time For It cliccando qui.

“E l’odio in realtà non importa, nah, non c’è tempo per questo, Oh-oh, non c’è tempo per questo, non c’è tempo, non c’è tempo, non c’è tempo”, canta Fantasia nel ritornello del suo nuovo singolo, il cui scopo è apparentemente quello di scuotere le persone per far capire a loro che ciò che odiano dovrebbe essere ignorato e che l’unica cosa che conta è che loro resteranno fedeli alle proprie convinzioni.

La produzione di “No Time For It” è piuttosto carina anche se esageratamente pop. Immagino che RCA abbia impostato per il primo singolo di Fantasia una riproduzione nelle top 40 radio. E per quanto riguarda la melodia, mi piacciono i tempi di Fantasia ed i versi, ma il ritornello è, purtroppo, così banale.

Nel complesso, “No Time For It” è una canzone con un bel messaggio, ed è carina, e non ho intenzione di mentire, ma è sicuramente una canzone che non ascolterei tantissimo e che non salverei nella mia playlist. E’ strano che i dirigenti della RCA non abbiano pensato di dare una bella rinfrescata al genere di Fantasia, forse ancorato agli anni 2000.
