Justin Bieber & Cody Simpson – Home to Mama (single cover)
Se pensavate a un album jazz come quello tra Lady Gaga e Tony Bennett ci siete cascati male. Ma c’è questo nuovo EP di coppia in arrivo con l’Australiano sensazione Cody Simpson e Justin Bieber che ci presenteranno questo disco di duetti questo mese, a novembre.
Nel mese di giugno, Simpson ha rivelato che ha trascorso del tempo con la stella canadese in uno studio di registrazione, ma non ha fornito ulteriori dettagli riguardo alla collaborazione tra i due. Successivamente si è aperto sul progetto, dicendo al Sydney Daily Telegraph che i due sono in procinto di rilasciare un album di brani comuni nel mese di Novembre. Ecco cosa dice Cody in merito alla collaborazione tra i due:
Justin è stato un buon compagno di miniera per un po’. Anche solamente scrivendoci. Mi ha detto che si sentiva come se io lo avessi capito e mi ha detto che sono cresciuto e mi ha detto che mi vedeva come il cantante e chitarrista che avrei sempre voluto essere. Infatti suono tutte le chitarre nell’album.
Il cantante australiano ha poi rivelato con una succosa anteprima il nuovo brano già il primo di agosto.
Poi successivamente, e per la precisione a settembre, Bieber ha annunciato di aver fatto firmare un contratto di artista a Cody. In termini reali significa che Justin ha ora una partecipazione finanziaria nella carriera di Cody, a meno che poi non si rivelerà una trovata pubblicitaria ma sembra improbabile dato che a Bieber non manca la visibilità.
