Che sarebbe stato un inizio anno scoppiettante per Justin Bieber lo aveva fatto intuire durante l’annuncio rilasciato la Vigilia di Natale nel quale confermava il suo ritorno sulle scena musicale.
Un nuovo album, un nuovo tour e una docu-serie, che sarà disponibile su Youtube dal 27 Gennaio. Prima, pero’, il nuovo singolo “Yummy” che da oggi è possibile ascoltare su tutte le piattaforme digitali.
L’ultimo disco rilasciato dall’artista risale al 2015, da allora ha sempre e solo realizzato collaborazioni –le ultime proprio nel 2019, “I Don’t Care” insieme a Ed Sheeran e “10,000 Hours” con Dan&Shay- e per questo motivo il suo pubblico fremeva dalla curiosità di sentire nuovo materiale solista.
“Yummy” è il primo assaggio di quello che seguirà, e proprio come aveva anticipato con un gioco di parole –R&Bieber– il sound del brano rientra nella categoria R&B.
Il ritornello, semplice e ripetitivo, continuerà a restare in testa anche dopo il primo ascolto.

Il riferimento chiaro alla moglie, la modella Hailey Baldwin, che senza dubbio ritroveremo in più di un testo.
Nel video ufficiale il cantante si diverte a partecipare a quello che apparentemente sembra essere un evento di classe, ma che verrà presto trasformato in una festa tra un costante via vai di cibo e un entusiasmo contagioso che porterà i protagonisti a ballare sui tavoli.
Il singolo va ad anticipare l’uscita dell‘album del quale pero’ non si hanno ancora notizie. Quello che si sa è che il 14 Maggio Justin partirà da Washington con il suo tour americano. Ci sono buone probabilità che il disco verrà rilasciato qualche mese prima.
Dal 27 Gennaio, invece, sul canale ufficiale del giovane verranno rilasciate due volte a settimane le puntate della sua docu-serie “Seasons”, nel quale il cantante ha tutte le intenzione di scoprirsi e rivelare cosa l’ha portato a distanziarsi dalla scena musicale per alcuni anni e di farsi seguire nel processo di creazione di questo nuovo progetto.
