Gli OneRepublic hanno rilasciato il video per Kids

Il primo singolo reale estratto dal prossimo e quarto album in studio della band è uscito in anteprima ieri (11 agosto) su Spotify ed è disponibile da oggi su iTunes.
“Kids” è il vero primo singolo e non “Wherever I Go“, che è stato recentemente “declassato” a singolo promozionale da Ryan Tedder quando ha detto su Twitter: “Il nostro prossimo singolo (“Kids”) sarà la canzone per l’album vero e proprio”.
Confronto e significato…
Questa canzone è un trilione di volte meglio di “Wherever I Go” e suona già come un successo per gli OneRepublic!
La produzione di “Kids” è particolarmente splendida. E’ ottenuta da una miscela di sound attuali, ad elementi elettronici e rock, melodie diverse, rumori di percussione, e, naturalmente, vocals incredibili di Ryan Tedder.
Mi rifiuto di guardare indietro pensando che quei giorni erano migliori, canta Ryan dei OneRepublic nel nuovo singolo Kids, che parla di un uomo che pensa alle relazioni in età avanzata e dice che potrebbero essere altrettanto intense come quando si era più giovani. E’ tutta una questione di prendersi cura dell’emozione.
