Il cantante canadese ha pubblicato oggi (18 agosto 2016) un nuovo brano che fa da conto alla rovescia al suo prossimo album in studio e secondo intitolato “Illuminate” che arriverà nei negozi il 23 settembre 2016.
La nuova canzone in questione si intitola “Mercy” e Shawn l’ha descritta la scorsa settimana su Twitter come: “Non credo di essere mai stato così eccitato per il rilascio di una canzone”.
“Mercy” è un’altra firma di Shawn Mendes, una ballata acustica emotiva dove si narra la storia di un ragazzo che è innamorato di una ragazza, ma questa ragazza non lo sa. Lei continua la sua vita, senza nemmeno sapere o preoccuparsi dell’esistenza di Shawn, e che, naturalmente, si sente molto male per via di questa situazione.
