Ecco il video per Sledgehammer di Rihanna, dove Riri indossa un abito rosso ed è truccata in versione Star Trek in un pianeta poco noto.
Rihanna ha fatto debuttare il 27 giugno 2016, una nuova canzone chiamata “Sledgehammer“. La ballata epica funge come canzone ufficiale del prossimo film di fantascienza “Star Trek Beyond“, che uscirà nelle sale cinematografiche di tutto il mondo il 22 luglio 2016.
Potrete sentire RiRi cantare a squarciagola “Sledgehammer”, durante i titoli di coda del film diretto da Justin Lin (il follow-up di “Star Trek Into Darkness“, uscito nel 2013).
“Sledgehammer” è stato scritto dalla star australiana Sia, questa volta Rihanna ha preso una canzone che Sia ha scritto per lei. Non so chi sia l’allenatore vocale di Rihanna, ma ha fatto un grandissimo lavoro. Penso che sia giusto dire che nessuno prevedeva che da “Pon De Replay” Rihanna avrebbe evoluto così tanto bene la sua voce.
Di cosa parla la nuova canzone di Rihanna?
“Sei solo un altro mattone e io sono una mazza …”, canta nel ritornello Rihanna.
“Sledgehammer” è una canzone molto drammatica in cui Rihanna racconta quanto sia doloroso lasciarsi quando sei ancora super innamorato dell’altra persona. Ma, si deve andare avanti e rompere quel muro gigantesco, che vi impedisce di essere felici, per continuare con la vostra vita.
