Il tema del video musicale ruota attorno a due Taylor Swift: una cattiva e una buona. La Taylor buona, che viene presentata come una cyborg nuda, utilizzerà tutti i suoi poteri per cercare di fuggire alle pareti trasparenti della prigione. Dall’altra parte, la Taylor Swift cattiva gode ogni volta che fallisce.
Il video musicale per Ready For It è bello da vedere ma non sembra allineato con la canzone e soprattutto la trama non appare al top.
