Un ritorno coi fiocchi per Allie X
La cantante canadese Allie X ha pubblicato in anteprima un nuovo singolo intitolato “That’s So Us” pochi giorni fa, che dovrebbe far parte di un EP o album della 31 enne cantante che si è fatta strada a suon di talent tv e spettacoli in Canada prima di trasferirsi negli Stati Uniti e firmare nel 2014 un contratto con la Universal.
“That’s So Us” è una canzone che mette in luce come la personalità di Allie X diventa quando lei è innamorata di un ragazzo. Non posso dire con certezza se si tratta di un disco autobiografico, ma suona come una storia organica e naturale quando la ragazza canta.
Allie X si fa sentire sul ritornello inneggiante ed adolescenziale su una produzione synth pop vintage.
Fondamentalmente Allie X condivide con noi quei dettagli che rendono il suo rapporto con questo ragazzo unico. Loro possono avere delle incomprensioni, ma alla fine sanno quello che provano l’uno per l’altra e si ameranno per sempre.
Allie X spiega nel suo brano That’s So Us di non prendere in considerazione i piccoli problemi creati dal vostro partner, perché bisogna guardare l’insieme intero e da lì capire se ne vale la pena litigare per delle piccolezze.
Buona è sicuramente il miglior aggettivo per descrivere questa canzone dove Allie X apre un po’ la porta della sua privacy.
