Il momento è giunto. Il nuovo singolo di Ariana Grande è finalmente arrivato. Intitolato “Dangerous Woman“, la canzone è il secondo singolo ufficiale tratto dal prossimo album e terzo in studio di Ari, che si chiama per l’appunto Dangerous Woman ed uscirà questa primavera con la Republic Records (Universal Music).
“Dangerous Woman” è uscito su iTunes questo venerdì mattina (11 marzo) ed i fan di Ariana Grande vegliavano l’ora del rilascio su Twitter ed ora saranno contenti perché già da domani avranno l’opportunità di ascoltare il singolo per la prima volta dal vivo al “Saturday Night Live”. Ora, questo è quello che io chiamo un perfetto allineamento programma promozionale!

Mentre “Focus” (il primo singolo) può essere descritto come una “estensione” di quello che abbiamo potuto sentire nel secondo album di Ariana “My Everything” (2014) e suona come un parente stretto di “Problem“, questo nuovo singolo intitolato “Dangerous Woman” vanta un nuovo sound completo.
Questa nuova canzone potrebbe non essere così “immediata”, o radio-friendly come “Focus”, ma è una canzone sorprendente sotto molti punti di vista. E’ un’alternativa all’R&B, stiamo parlando di una produzione neo soul di grande impatto. “Dangerous Woman” è una traccia sexy in cui possiamo ascoltare un’Ariana dalle vocalità più calme ma hot mentre si immedesima nel testo dove parla dell’attrazione verso un uomo per cui prova un sentimento.
“Qualcosa in te mi fa sentire come una donna pericolosa“, canta nel ritornello.
Non mi importa se questa canzone non è un inno per le discoteche, questa è musica di qualità, è una canzone ben cantata ed il testo è molto bello. Evoca un sentimento di ammirazione e non è poco. Inoltre, non ho alcun dubbio che Ariana saprà eseguire benissimo Dangerous Woman nelle sue perfomance in live.
Sicuramente puntare su Dangerous Woman come secondo singolo è una scelta coraggiosa e sono sicuro che sarà quella giusta.
Tra l’altro, dopo aver sentito questo nuovo singolo, ho seriamente pensato che ci potrebbero essere più canzoni come Dangerous Woman e meno canzoni come Focus nel nuovo album di Ari. Vediamo se il singolo piacerà alle radio e riuscirà a vendere. Comunque si tratta di un’evoluzione per il suono di Ariana Grande e merita i più sinceri complimenti. Sei stata una donna coraggiosa.
