L’ultimo album in studio di David Bowie, il suo venticinquesimo in totale, è stato rilasciato l’8 gennaio dalla Colombia Records e si intitola Blackstar. Tante attese per questo disco che Bowie ha deciso di rilasciare il giorno del suo 69° compleanno, una bella data per commemorare un ritorno alla musica. Purtroppo David Bowie è morto due giorni dopo la data del rilascio ufficiale del suo album, che è una sorta di testamento musicale con cui David ha voluto salutare il mondo della musica.
L’album è stato anticipato da due singoli: Lazarus e Blackstar, che viene usato come tema principale per la serie televisiva The Last Panthers.
Dollar Days invece è la sesta traccia estratta da Blackstar. E’ una canzone molto enigmatica, come le tante altre del disco, e che possiamo ascoltare qui sopra.
