Il 42° People’s Choice Awards, ha provato ad onorare al meglio i preferiti della gente per il 2015. Si sono svolti il 6 Gennaio 2016, presso il Microsoft Theater di Los Angeles, in California, e sono stati trasmessi in diretta sulla CBS.
La cerimonia è stata presentate da Jane Lynch. Le candidature sono state annunciate il 3 novembre 2015.
