Non proprio il “ritorno” di Shakira che mi aspettavo per il 2016, ma la prendo buona questa Try Everything.
Relax. Questo non è il primo singolo estratto dall’undicesimo album in studio di Shakira, che lei sicuramente rilascerà quest’anno (altrimenti sarà in serio pericolo), ma solo una canzone che ha registrato per la colonna sonora del prossimo film d’animazione “Zootopia” (che uscirà nelle sale a marzo) – dove Shakira darà la sua bella voce ad un personaggio, Gazelle.
“Try Everything” è stato scritto da Sia ed è stato prodotto da Stargate. La produzione del brano è piuttosto al di fuori del contesto, perché combina ritmi synth-pop a corde di chitarra. Credo che sia stata un’idea di Shakira includere la chitarra, come forse lei non voleva che le parole di una sua canzone fossero accompagnate da un suono synth interamente clubby.
“No, non lascerò, voglio provare tutto, voglio provare, anche se avrei potuto fallire”, canta Shakira nel suo singolo “Zootopia”.
Il messaggio della canzone è molto stimolante. Come, per non mollare mai , basta continuare a provare e provare. Non si sa mai, il minimo che ci si aspetta è che si potrebbe realizzare qualcosa grosso.
“Try Everything” potrebbe sembrare un po’ troppo strano per Shakira, ma è una canzone per un film adatto ai bambini quindi va bene. La buona notizia che arriva da questa canzone, alla fine, è che Shakira è tornata in studio.
