Sembra proprio che un nuovo singolo estratto da “This Unruly Mess I’ve Made” è stato scelto.
Dopo l’esecuzione dal vivo per la prima volta in televisione al “The Ellen Show“, il rapper Macklemore ed il produttore Ryan Lewis hanno pubblicato in anteprima il video musicale per il brano “Dance Off” (18 maggio 2016) su YouTube.
Diretto da Jason Koenig, il video ufficiale è un inno alla dance abbastanza prevedibile. Si apre con Macklemore che pratica alcune mosse davanti allo specchio ad un ricevimento post-nozze. Ciò che Macklemore non sa è che le sue mosse sono “contagiose”. L’accoglienza alla fine si trasformerà in una bellissima coreografie dance con ragazzi e ragazze che danzeranno sulle note di Dance Off.
Vedendo il suo lavoro fatto al matrimonio, Macklemore si sposterà in altre parti della struttura e non solo. Successivamente, entrerà nel ristorante. Lì, la mania per Dance Off scoppierà e non sarà per colpa sua. Più tardi, il rapper di Seattle visiterà una palestra, la hall e le aree del centro commerciale, e sì, la dance off si scatenerà in questi luoghi.
Tra l’altro, nel video compare per un cameo l’attore britannico Idris Elba.
