Vi dirò la verità, a me piaceva già tantissimo la versione originale, e poi il video girato in Africa (Uganda) merita moltissimo. Se non l’avete visto rimediate subito cliccando qui. Tra me avrei pensato: solo in poche riuscirebbero a elevare ancora di più una canzone già bella. Una di queste è senza dubbia la regina dell’R&B “Mariah Carey” che ha deciso di affiancare la sua bellissima voce a quella di French Montana e Swae Lee in questo bel remix di Unforgettable che potete ascoltare sopra tramite Spotify.

Perché è stato pubblicato questo remix di Unforgettable?

Vi dirò, la canzone aveva bisogno di una nuova strategia per andare meglio nella classifica Billboard Hot 100. Quando il grafico è stato aggiornato la scorsa settimana, “Unforgettable” è sceso di una posizione in classifica; da 3° è passato a 4°. L’etichetta di French Montana ha capito che era giunto il momento di estrarre il coniglio dal cilindro, ed è così che hanno pubblicato il remix di Unforgettable con Mariah Carey.

Se la strategia avrà successo il singolo potrebbe riacquistare le prime tre posizioni nel giro di poche settimane. Devo dirvi la verità, dopo un paio di ascolti devo dirvi che preferisco ancora l’originale, più che altro per l’instrumental scelto, che si identifica meglio con i vocal presenti nel brano. Il remix di Unforgettable è carino, soprattutto per via della voce di Mariah, ma non avrei modificato più di tanto lo strumentale.

Ah, comunque non vedo l’ora di sentire nuove canzoni di Mariah Carey. Speriamo che la cantante si deciderà a rilasciare presto un nuovo album. Ti aspettiamo Mimi.
