Michael Bublé è il re delle canzoni di natale ma ora potrebbero esserlo anche delle estive con “Nobody But Me”? Scopriamolo insieme.
Tre anni dopo l’uscita del suo ultimo album in studio, “To Be Loved” (2013), il cantante canadese Michael Bublé è finalmente tornato in prima linea.
Michael rilascerà alla fine di ottobre quello che sarà il suo nono album in studio intitolato “Nobody But Me“. E questo è anche il titolo del primo singolo estratto, che è stato rilasciato su iTunes, Spotify e le altre piattaforme digitali durante il fine settimana.
“Nobody But Me” vede Bublé testare un paio di cose nuove per la prima volta e che sicuramente lasceranno sorpresi i fan. C’è un ponte rap nel brano, per gentile concessione di Black Thought dei The Roots, e poi per quel sound diverso nella canzone.
Per quanto riguarda il ponte di rap, io personalmente non credo che si adatti molto bene con la canzone. Uccide un po’ l’atmosfera. Black Thought è un grande artista ma qui non c’era bisogno di lui. E per quanto riguarda la produzione sonora ho apprezzato molto il tutto, perché porta la voce di Michael ad una tonalità più buonista ed allegra. Michael Bublé ha una collaborazione con Meghan Trainor sul suo prossimo album intitolata “Someday”. Chissà che a furia di sperimentare un nuovo suono con lei non abbia deciso di creare questo Nobody But Me.
“Nobody But Me” è un inno sulla gelosia ottimistico in cui Michael Bublé dice che non può nemmeno considerare l’ipotetica idea che gli altri uomini possano corteggiare la sua ragazza.
